TechnoMarine Novel Cruise Sport Collection

        A relatively young member of the highly exclusive world of the luxury watch-making industry, TechnoMarine was created in 1997 by a visionary French entrepreneur, Franck Dubarry. The brand acquired international acknowledgement for its iconic Raft chronograph, a surprising wristwatch, which rapidly became the year’s bestseller and opened the gates for a completely new generation of timepieces, a remarkable horological breakthrough, which introduced TechnoMarine into the exclusive world of the Haute Horology.

        One of the most appreciated watch lines of the brand, the iconic Cruise line defined by sophisticated bold design received, at BaselWorld 2010, an outstanding new addition- the Novel Cruise Sport collection. Initially, created to strike through a revolutionary approach to traditional watch making, the Cruise line comprised watches that boldly mixed diamonds and plastic, and which soon gained many enthusiast fans.

        Nevertheless, the 2010 models smartly combine vivid eye-catching colors and the TechnoMarine exceptional mechanical sophistication. The models approach a straightforward design, deprived of any unnecessary decorations; they were created in a fresh sporty style and come matched with extremely comfortable silicone straps more flexible and soft than the gel-plastic straps used in other models.

        The new TechnoMarine Cruise Sport collection comprises two chronograph models- a 40 mm and a more robust 45 mm model, as well as a 3-hand style model- with a 40 mm case. Moreover, the masculine sturdy cases are manufactured from stainless steel fitted with Black Gel coating for a stealth black look, which nicely contrasts with the color highlights of the bezel and dial.

        The dials and the hands of the models feature a wide color range including green, blue, fuchsia, white and orange. The timepieces also feature a redesigned, upgraded bezel with a smoother shape. The 3D dials, acquired a new depth, which confers them a striking visual impact, enhanced by the wider hour hands. Moreover, the sporty, dynamic dials are protected by a mineral crystal glass.

        The timepieces of the TechnoMarine Cruise Sport watches are animated by high-precision Citizen Quartz movements; they are 200-meters watertight which makes them appropriate for swimming and amateur diving; also, this outstanding collection will be introduced to the market in May 2010.
