Rolex Datejust Royal Black

Maybe the most iconic luxury watchmaker of all times, Rolex traces its roots back to the beginning of the 20th century, Switzerland, when it was created by two visionary spirits of the time, Alfred David and Hans Wilsdorf.

During its centenary existence, Rolex evolved into the largest watch-making brand in the world, which produces more than 2000 timepieces in a single day, and, for the watch-connoisseurs worldwide started to be associated with the highest edge of watch-making mastery, sophistication and mechanical purity. The timepieces designed by Rolex have always been characterized by irreproachable precision, sobriety and distinction.

Embodying the perfect intertwinement of classic elegance and modernity, the new addition to the brand’s 1945, iconic Rolex Datejust line, features numerous upgrades, but, at the same time, retains the vintage style.

Although the first variations of the Datejust line have been entirely presented in gold, followed by gold and stainless steel or entirely stainless steel models, nevertheless, the most audacious interpretation of the theme, in black is the classy Rolex Datejust Royal Black.

The timepiece is presented with a standard, 36 mm case, manufactured from 18-karat white gold.

The stylish Rolex Datejust Royal Black is available in two luxurious variations: the first one comes fitted with a glamorous bezel set with 60 baguette-cut diamonds, a diamond-embellished black dial fitted with diamond-set hour markers, and a sophisticated black rubber and galuchat strap adorned with the seductive glitter of 10 diamonds.

The second variation of the Rolex Datejust Royal Black is almost identical with the first one except for the bezel, which is embellished here with 60 baguette-cut black sapphires, moreover, the edges of the bezel and the end-pieces are set with diamonds.

At the heart of both variations of this watch beats a self-winding movement the COSC-certified Rolex Caliber 3135 that oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour, providing exceptional timekeeping accuracy and the advantage of 50 –hour power reserve. The luxurious dial of the Rolex Datejust Royal Black displays the date function at 3 o’clock position, beneath a magnifying “Cyclops” lens. Moreover, the timepiece confers a water-tightness of 100 meters.

Two extremely expensive models, the eye-catching variations of the superb Rolex Datejust Royal Black are available for a price tag starting with $70,600.00 for the diamond-set bezel up to $75,350.00 for the sapphire –embellished model.
