Graham Chronofighter Oversized Tourist Trophy

One of the few British watch-making powerhouses in the world, made by Swiss, as the brand’s official website acknowledges its pedigree, Graham-London traces its roots to the 18th century, when it was created by George Graham, an outstanding member of the Royal Society, a visionary spirit of his time, known among the watch-collectors as the father of the chronograph.

In its centenary existence, this brand never ceased to consider every challenge a great opportunity for improvement, and through going against the watch-making mainstream, and creating amazing timepieces, animated by remarkable mechanisms, and vanguard design, Graham earned a well-grounded place among the most audacious trendsetters of the Haute Horology.

Through the years, Graham-London experienced a privileged partnership with the thrilling world of motorcycle racing, acting as an official timekeeper for the Tourist Trophy Isle of Man, one of the most prestigious motorcycle race circuits in the world.

In order to celebrate this fruitful intertwinement, the brand released another limited edition of 211 pieces, dedicated to the 18 champions of the circuit- the powerful new Graham Chronofighter Oversize Tourist Trophy Watch Line.

A powerfully masculine timepiece, the remarkable Graham Chronofighter Oversize Tourist Trophy Isle of Man features a bold PVD-coated stainless steel case, measuring 47 mm in diameter, which incorporates an eye-catching bezel with Clous de Paris finish, fast action start-stop lever and crown and non-slip stopwatch-reset reset button also performed in PVD-coated steel. Furthermore, the vanguard architecture of the case incorporates a both sides anti-glare coated sapphire crystal, an exhibition case-back and ensures a good 100-meters water resistance.

The daring construction of the case makes a beautiful contrast against the watch’s racy black galvanic dial, completed with luminescent-coated indices, oversized Arabic numeral hour markers, for the 12 and 6 o’clock positions, and hours and minutes hands also treated with luminescent substances. Furthermore, the watch’s dial is personalized with the race’s official colors, red and yellow. At 9 o’clock, there is a 30-minutes chronograph counter, which defies the 30-mph road sign, the date is presented via a small aperture at 7 o’clock, meanwhile the second’s counter, located at 3 o’clock, features an original hand inspired by the three-legged coat of arms of the race.

The eye-catching Graham Chronofighter Oversize Tourist accommodates a self-winding mechanical bi-compax chronograph movement – the Calibre G1734, which incorporates 27 jewels, alternates at a frequency of 28,800 oscillations per hour and confers the advantage of 42 hours power reserve.

Especially created to please a watch collector who shares his passion for high-end timepieces with another passion, for motorcycles competitions, the impressive Graham Chronofighter Oversize Tourist Trophy watch is secured to the wrist with a comfortable black rubber strap with Clous de Paris decoration. As far as the price tag of this limited edition we expect it to be somewhere around $7,550.00.
