An interesting success story Tudor Luxury Watches was born as the little sister of Rolex, or as a brand that created Rolex-like wristwatches for less expensive prices, nevertheless through the years, the brand started to produce innovative, new models dedicated to a young, self-assertive and dynamic, contemporary clientele.

Ever since 1946, when it was brought to life by the father of Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf Tudor Luxury Watches fought to earn its well grounded place among the finest watch-making brands of the world, and as years went by, the skilled watchmaker started to produce timepieces defined by a powerful individuality entirely different from Rolex’s.

At Baselworld 2008, Tudor introduced a brand new innovative watch-line that comprises dual-time zone chronographs, defined by bold charismatic design, the new Tudor Iconaut Watch Line

The timepieces are furthermore defined by powerful masculine robustness; they feature fairly large cases, wonderfully sculpted in stainless steel that measure 43 mm in diameter, and which boast an outstanding 150 meter water resistance, for a non-diving timepiece, actually with 50 meters more than an average non-diving Rolex.

At the heart of the new Tudor Iconaut beats the high-precision self-winding mechanical movement, which oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, ensuring thus a 46-hours power reserve.

The timepieces feature a powerfully sporty design; the dials displays traditional chronograph functions asides from date and time functions, they feature two chronographs counters located at 6 respectively at 12 o’clock that are used to indicate time intervals of up to 12 hours. The models are also fitted with a continuous seconds indicator located at 9 o’clock. Moreover the dials’ edges are marked with a tachymeter scale.

Dedicated to a modern active man, and maybe a world traveler, Tudor Iconaut features second-time zone, indicated by an additional red hour hand, and moreover the timepieces come coupled with a stylish stainless steel bracelet or a comfortable sporty black rubber strap all for an attractive price tag of approximately $3,500.00.
