Stowa Airman Flieger Ikarus

Created in the 1930s, Germany, Stowa is a watchmaking brand that, built a well-established reputation, for creating top-class wristwatches, according to the finest German traditions, which conquered the hearts of many watch enthusiasts worldwide, due to their remarkable timekeeping accuracy and accessible price.

Through almost a century of existence, Stowa never abandoned its life-guiding philosophy and perfectionist principles, and never ceased to create impressive timepieces, defined by mechanical complexity and an unmistakable minimalist design, emanating sobriety and elegance.

In addition, although the brand preserved unaltered the classy retro charm of its models it also sought to improve the mechanisms, and to implement innovative technologies in order to create the best timekeeping companions for the self-assertive man of the 21st century.

Therefore, in the following article we are going to present to you an amazing new addition to the brand’s emblematic Flieger Watch Line the superb Stowa Flieger Ikarus Watch, a stylish timepiece, which emanates class and sobriety.

The model features a mat stainless steel case, measuring 40 mm in diameter and 10.20 mm in thickness, which incorporates a steel fluted crown and a see through exhibition case-back, which allows the timepiece to provide a surprising perspective of its beating mechanism.

The model features a minimalist rhodium coated dial, nicely completed with leaf-shaped black hands, and Arabic numeral hour markers, fitted with central luminescent inserts, for optimal legibility in any light conditions. Moreover, the timepiece ensures traditional central hours, minutes and seconds functions along a small date window located at 6 o’clock position.

Especially designed to provide the upmost accuracy, the new Stowa Flieger Ikarus Watch, accommodates a top-quality Swiss-made ETA 2824-2 Caliber, which incorporates 25 jewels, and which can be admired through the watch’s exhibition case-back.

An interesting model, the new Stowa Flieger Ikarus Watch embracers the wrist, with either a simple or a riveted black/brown leather strap, or a more sophisticated black or brown Napa leather strap.

However, the model, which costs approximately $780.00 can also receive upgrades – a COSC-certified movement (for an additional $280), and a masculine metallic bracelet (for another $202).
