Seiko Sportura Small Second Hand SRK025P1

A fascinating success story, started in the last decades of the 19th century, Japan, Seiko is the master creation of an enthusiast young entrepreneur, Kintarō Hattori who decided to open his own fine watches and jewelry store, a bold initiative which marked the beginning of A Journey in Time: the Remarkable Story of Seiko.

Although, Hattori launched his small business in 1881, his brand started to actually develop and independently assemble timepieces only 11 years later, when his watch-manufacture produced its first timepiece, under the Seikōsha trademark, a name derived from the Japanese word, which meant exquisite, minute and success.

After a constant growth, during the 1920s, the brand took the name Seiko and continued its evolution, becoming one of the most appreciated members of today’s fine watch-making industry, due to the remarkable quality, long-term reliability and functionality of its horological products.

Recently, the brand brought a remarkable new addition to its impressive Seiko Sportura Watch Collection– a powerfully masculine new model characterized remarkable timekeeping accuracy, reliability and functional sporty design, the new Seiko Sportura Small Second Hand SRK025P1 Watch.

Defined by bold dynamic design, the timepiece features a robust stainless steel case, fitted with black PVD-coating, measuring 11 mm height, 50 mm width, and 53 mm length, which demonstrates a sporty sophisticated combination of brushed steel surfaces, and matt-black areas, which incorporates a fluted crown and a screw-down case-back, and which provides a good 100-meter water resistance.

Moreover, the model features a sporty black dial, nicely completed vibrant red sporty accents, white Arabic numeral hour markers, and applied hour indices, as well as with sward-shaped hour and minutes skeleton hands, fitted with luminescent tips, for optimal time legibility in any light conditions. The model displays central hours and minutes functions, and a small second’s counter, located at 6 o’clock position.

Furthermore, it is noteworthy to mention that the remarkable Seiko Sportura Small Seconds SRK025P1 Watch accommodates a top-class quartz movement, the Caliber 6G28, which ensures optimal timekeeping accuracy and reliability.

The model is secured to the wrist with a black polyurethane strap, and it will feature a couple other variations intended to please even the most demanding customer of the brand, as far as the price tag goes, we cannot yet publish an exact figure, though we expect it to be somewhere between $500.00 up to 1,000.00.
