Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss 116400 GV

The most iconic luxury watch-making brand in the world, Rolex carries on a rich heritage of over one century of uncompromising quality and dedication to creating timepieces of immaculate precision and sober distinguished aesthetics.

Through the years, the brand never ceased to bring to life outstanding wristwatches characterized by the same well-known retro elegance and mechanical sophistication, and, although the brand produces over 2000 timepieces per day, they all embody the perfect combination of aesthetical purity and mechanical sophistication.

Internationally known for preserving unaltered its traditional watch lines, Rolex brought to life another upgraded addition to its iconic Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss Collection first introduced in 1954, a timepiece especially designed for people who work in areas where electromagnetic fields can interfere with the timekeeping accuracy of their timekeeping companions.

Drawing its inspiration from the original Submariner models, the remarkable Rolex Milgauss masterfully combines the emblematic Rolex charismatic elegance with slightly sportier finish touches.

The new Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss 116400 GV features a sturdy masculine case measuring 40 mm in diameter, wonderfully sculpted in stainless steel. Moreover, the powerful architecture of the timepiece incorporates a stainless steel polished bezel. The case-back of the watch is manufactured from stainless steel, and as an individualizing feature, it bears the brand’s logo inscribed in it. The timepiece is 100 meters watertight, being appropriate for swimming and superficial diving, although it is not a professional diver’s watch.

The watch features a sober black dial highlighted with white hour indices, and three golden individualizing indices positioned at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions. The dial also features a sporty finish touch in the orange second’s hand carried on into the design of the orange Arabic numerals, which mark 5 minutes intervals.

At the heart of the timepiece beats a high precision automatic movement, the COSC certified 3131 Caliber that confers the highest level of timekeeping accuracy and reliability even in a magnetic field of up to 1,000 Gauss, 10 times bigger resistance compared with a normal antimagnetic watch.

Appropriate for a scientist or a man who works in a power plant and needs a timepiece that can withstand to magnetic fields that seriously damage a normal mechanical watch, the outstanding Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss 116400 GV is available for an approximate price tag of $7,130.00.
