Raymond Weil Nabucco Cuore Caldo

Raymond Weil is a Swiss watch-making brand with a very interesting success story; it was founded in 1976, by enthusiast businessman, Raymond Weil, who benefitted by a life-long experience in the watch-making industry and, at the age of 50, ventured across the continent with the brand’s first models in his pocket, slowly creating an international market. The brand’s creations instantly captured the public’s attention due to their innovative nature characterized by clean elegance and remarkable distinction.

In its rather short existence, Raymond Weil, now a family-owned company became one of the most respected Swiss watch-making powerhouses, generally known as a watch-design trendsetter extremely popular among the watch connoisseurs worldwide. Fateful to its life-guiding principles and to the fine watch-making tradition and philosophy, the brand created another exquisite timepiece, the new Raymond Weil Nabucco Cuore Caldo watch, the brand’s first split-second chronograph with power-reserve indicator.

First introduced at Baselworld 2008, the highly innovative collection had only 500 individually numbered pieces and it retains the emblematic characteristics of the emblematic Nabucco watch line: the slightly oversized, masculine case, measuring 46 mm in diameter, the remarkable 200-meters water-resistance coupled with the perfection of the high-end finish touches.

The timepiece is equipped with a high-precision, self-winding chronograph, the ETA bi-compax 7750 mechanical movement that oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour ensuring 42-hurs power reserve and two additional functions- split seconds ,and power reserve indicator. The revolutionary movement of the timepiece interestingly combines the display of the power reserve indicator, located at 6:30 position with the 30 minutes chronograph counter, located at 3 o’clock and with the small seconds counter from the 9 o’clock position.

The timepiece demonstrates a sophisticated combination of high-tech materials: the ultra-light titanium, stainless steel, 18-karat pink gold and carbon fiber. The watch demonstrates a sporty black checked dial shielded by an anti-glare coated sapphire crystal, the dial is fitted with polished rose gold hands, highlighted by luminescent striped for optimal time-legibility in poor light conditions.

The remarkable Raymond Weil Nabucco Cuore Caldo features a screwed-down titanium case-back that allows an inquiring eye to feast on the delicate dance of the movement, adorned with Cotes de Genève guilloche pattern. Moreover the timepiece comes coupled with a comfortable vulcanized rubber strap, adorned with black leather inserts that confers the watch both comfort and a modern attractive appeal making it the perfect option for a daring charismatic gentleman of the 21st century, all for an approximate price tag of $12,100.00.
