Rado was the first watch manufacturer that built a scratch-resistant watch – the DiaStar launched in 1968 and still produced at this moment. Now, in order to pay a tribute to the iconic DiaStar, Rado unveils the D-Star Basel Special 2011, an automatic timepiece that is a mixture of innovative use of materials and high quality craftsmanship.
