One of the most appreciated luxury watch-making powerhouses in the world, Pierre DeRoche is a prestigious family company, headquartered in Valle de Joux, Switzerland, which creates exceptional limited editions characterized by unmatched mechanical sophistication and astounding original design.

Surely, a true Pierre DeRoche enthusiast customer will know that the brand creates about 100 models yearly, which immediately become coveted collectable items due to the uniqueness of the mechanisms that animate them, as well as their superb manual finish, perfected up to the tiniest detail, by the brand’s skilled specialists.

Nevertheless, although strongly opposing industrial production, Pierre DeRoche is one of the most important members of today’s Haute Horology, which never ceased to push one-step forward the known limits of horological innovation and to perpetually surprise with new shapes, textures and fresh new design concepts.

A true sensation of BaselWorld 2010, the latest creation of the brand, the new Pierre Deroche GrandCliff TNT Penta, produced in a limited edition of 201 pieces, boasts powerful masculinity and striking sophistication. A bold chronograph model, the timepiece will surely conquer the hart of any charismatic man keen of horological complications and high-end finish.

The timepiece features a robust case, measuring 45.5 mm in diameter, which incorporates a black PVD-coated titanium container, a powerful stainless steel bezel, which demonstrates a sporty combination of brushed and polished surfaces, a screw-down crown, crown-guard and chronograph push pieces. The complex architecture of the case, also incorporates a glare-proof sapphire crystal and an exhibition case-back, and ensures 100-meters water resistance.

The timepiece features a sporty grey skeleton dial, which allows a true watch-connoisseur to enjoy the delicate dance of the watch’s beautifully decorated movement. The timepiece features a red seconds hand, sward-shaped hours and minutes hands, fitted with luminescent inserts. The watch’s dial is completed with an Arabic numeral hour marker, for the 12 o’clock position and triangular hour indices, performed in vibrant red, for the 6, 9 respectively 3 o’clock positions.

Furthermore, the impressive timepiece is animated by an, exclusive self-winding mechanical movement, which incorporates 49 jewels, the high precision in-house Dubois Dépraz caliber decorated with Côtes de Genève large date bridge and circularly engraved rotor.

A true luxury wristwatch, the superb Pierre Deroche GrandCliff TNT Penta, ensures central hours, minutes and seconds functions, large date presented via a window located at 12 o’clock, fly-back chronograph function with 12-hours and 60-minutes counters located at 6, respectively at 9 o’clock. The classy timepiece embraces the wrist with a black crocodile leather strap and, it was produced in another, pink-gold-steel-titanium, variation limited to 21 pieces. As far as the price tag of the impressive Pierre Deroche GrandCliff TNT Penta is concerned, with the model’s pedigree, we can only expect it to be dynamite, let’s say around $20,000.00.
