Perrelet Regulator with Retrograde Hour

Founded in 1777 by one of the fathers of today Haute Horology, Abraham-Louis Perrelet the inventor of the self-winding mechanical movement, Perrelet is a prestigious watch-making powerhouse, internationally known for creating outstanding wristwatches defined by mechanical purity, authenticity, immaculate quality and innovative fresh design.

A brand, which remained fateful to its life-guiding principles and philosophy Perrelet, always impressed its demanding clientele, and watch-experts worldwide, with timepieces accommodating stunning horological complications, and endowed with an elegant unmistakable style.

Recently the brand presented another exclusive edition that, for the first time ever, combines two spectacular horological complications, a regulator complication (which separately indicates hours and minutes) and retrograde hours- a complication that implies that the hour hand jumps back to the initial position when a cycle is completed.

Especially created for a sophisticated modern gentleman, the new Perrelet Regulator with Retrograde Hour Gents Watch features a masculine stainless steel case, measuring 42 mm in diameter, which demonstrates a nice combination of elegant curves and polished and brushed surfaces. Furthermore, the timepiece features an exhibition case-back and ensures a good water resistance of 50-meters, although I doubt that someone would actually use this stylish wristwatch for swimming or diving.

The model was performed in two variations, fitted with classy silver or elegant grey dials completed with a date scale on the outer rim, and two overlapping sub dials, one for the minutes, positioned at 6 o’clock and fitted with applied indices, while at 12 o’clock there is the retrograde hours counter, fitted with Arabic numeral markers. The stylish timepiece features sward-shaped, faceted hour and minutes hands, central blued-steel seconds hand and a central date hand with crescent tip.

At the heart of the elegant Perrelet Regulator with Retrograde Hour Gents Watch beats a high-quality self-winding mechanical movement, the in-house P-221 caliber, which ensures optimal timekeeping accuracy and reliability, as well as a lengthily 40-hours power-reserve.

Especially created to bring a plus of distinction to a dressy outfit, the remarkable Perrelet Regulator with Retrograde Hour Gents Watch comes matched with a stylish black alligator leather strap or a masculine stainless steel bracelet, and it features two rose gold variations as well as a titanium version. As for the price tag we expect it to range somewhere around $10,000.00.
