One of the most prestigious watch-making brands in the world, Perrelet traces its roots back to 1777, when it was created by an endowed young watchmaker, Abraham-Louis Perrelet, who seem became one of the fathers of today Haute Horology, being associated with the creation of the very first self-winding mechanical movement.
The brand, always lived up to its ancestor’s ideals, and life-guiding philosophy and always stunned the watch enthusiasts worldwide with amazing new timepieces, animated by extremely sophisticated movements beautifully decorated, and characterized by an unmatched aesthetical purity and refinement.
An etalon of watch-making authenticity and quality for all the members of the fine watch making industry, Perrelet creates watches fateful to its centenary history and identity, and one of its most impressive lines, is the classic Perrelet Moonphase Gents Watch a distinguished collection that celebrates the eternally fascinating movement of the celestial bodies.
The eye-catching, elegant models feature stainless steel, cases that demonstrate a nice combination of soft curves, brushed, and polished surfaces. The cases measures 40 mm in diameter and ensure a good 50 meters water resistance, though I doubt that anyone would actually swim or dive wearing any of these dressy timepieces.
The stylish architecture of the cases makes a beautiful contrast against the watches’ silver or black dials, which display a majestically designed central Moonphase complication. The timepieces are completed with a date circle, positioned on the outer rim of the dials, and with stainless steel applied hour indices, an Arabic numeral for the 12 o’clock position as well as, by stylish faceted hour and minutes hands, with luminescent inserts. The seconds are indicated by a delicate blued steel hand, while the date by a crescent-tipped hand.
Furthermore, the two beautiful new models of the Perrelet Moonphase Gents Watch Collection are animated by a high quality, self-winding mechanical movement- the in house P-211 Caliber, which confers optimal timekeeping accuracy and reliability and which can be admired by an inquiring connoisseur’s eye through the watch’s exhibition case-back.
Furthermore, we have to add that the Moonphase Gents Watch Line also features a sportier slightly larger variation, performed in titanium that comes matched with a comfortable black rubber strap. As for the steel versions, they can be optionally matched with classy alligator leather straps, as well as with metallic bracelets, and will be available for an approximate price tag of $6,200.00.
