        One of the main attractions of Parmigiani Fleurier in 2009 was the release of another exclusive chronographs collection which pays a great tribute to the watchmaker’s intertwining with the prestigious Italian yacht constructor, Pershing. This privileged partnership was initiated in February 2008, when Pershing parented its first sporty exclusive watch-collection, the one-one-five chronograph series, and the zero-zero-five chronographs defined as a master reflection of watch-making excellence and immaculate technological expertise that have rapidly transformed these timepieces in coveted collectable items extremely appreciated by the watches collectors worldwide.

        The new Pershing zero-zero-two Chronograph Watch was designed in a couple of variations but it has a rather neutral character, being fitted both for a gentleman’s wrist as well as for a refined lady who can appreciate a genuine masterpiece of horological craftsmanship characterized by pure mechanical perfection.

        The chronograph’s elegant case, measuring 42 mm in diameter, manufactured either from stainless steel or 18 karat white or rose gold demonstrates a remarkable harmony of lines; the stainless steel cases are fitted with white or black natural rubber push pieces which match the strap’s color, meanwhile the gold cases feature push-pieces manufactured from a nobler material, the case is furthermore completed by a sapphire crystal which received anti-glare treatment, and a curious eye will surely discover engraved on the case-back, the luxurious silhouette of a Pershing yacht. The watch is a perfect choice for divers because it features a unidirectional rotating bezel, it can resist up to 100 meters beneath the sea surface and it is fitted with 3-meter tachometric measurement indicator.

        The watch features either a graphite, amaranth or silver dial, and features a chronograph function served by the central seconds hand, also it is fitted with two slightly overlapping sub-dials, the 30-minutes and respectively the 12-hours counters. The model also features a small second’s counter located at 3 o’clock position and a large date aperture located at 6 o’clock. The elegant design of the dial is furthermore completed by rhodium-plated appliquéd hour indices and Delta-shaped hour hands which received luminescent coating.

        The collection also features a highly feminine variation of Pershing zero-zero-two chronograph which reflects the ocean’s depth mysteries and supreme beauties in its refined blue mother-of-pearl dial, the small second’s chronograph hand, fitted with a stylized octopus tip, and a precious bezel adorned with seductive baguette cut diamonds and sapphires. Moreover this variation is secured to the wrist with a stylish white Hermes Epsom calfskin strap with blue stitching accents.
