Panerai Luminor GMT PAM 00088

        The most respected Italian watch-making powerhouse in the world, Officine Panerai emerged in 1860, in Florence, Italy, and it is the master creation of a visionary man, Giovani Panerai, who initiated a long heirloom skilled watchmakers, committed to creating timepieces defined by outstanding quality and unmatched mechanical sophistication.

        Nowadays, the Italian brand is owned by Richemont International SA since 1997, this renowned Italian watch-making powerhouse currently manufactures its timepieces in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, using both in-house movements as well as the beautifully decorated ETA calibers.

        One of the latest creations of the brand, the remarkable Panerai Luminor GMT PAM 00088 skillfully intertwines the well-known Officine Panerai’s powerful masculine charismatic design and immaculate functionality and reliability.

        Designed to be the perfect timekeeping companion of a dynamic contemporary man, this outstanding timepiece, features the brand’s iconic cushion-shaped case, measuring 44 mm in diameter, which demonstrates a wonderful combination of brushed and polished stainless steel surfaces, also the sophisticated silhouette of the watch incorporates a round polished bezel and a crown protection system emblematic for Officine Panerai.

        A contemporary timepiece, the new Panerai Luminor GMT PAM 00088 features a stylish black dial fitted with luminescent-coated hour indices and Arabic numerals hour markers for the 12 and 6 o’clock positions. The timepiece also features an additional GMT hand used with 24-hour markers, and which can be set independently from the central 12-hour hand and which indicates the time in the second time zone. Moreover, beneath a magnifying lens, located at 3 o’clock position, there is a round date window.

        As a particularity of this watch, scarcely found in the Panerai models the watch features skeleton hand, which enhance the model’s modern sophisticated air. The skeleton hands were used with both aesthetical and functional purpose, they provide a large area of luminescent coating and, at the same time, they allow a clear view at the GMT-hand, without obscuring the small second’s chronograph counter, located at 9 o’clock position, which demonstrates a nice swirled silver finish.

        At the heart of this timepiece beats the COSC-certified automatic Panerai OP VIII movement which oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and which confers a power-reserve of 42 hours. Moreover, due to its diver’s watch lineage the timepiece boasts 300-meter water-resistance, it comes coupled with either black rubber or a more stylish brown leather strap all for a price tag of $7,200.00.
