Omega De Ville Co Axial Chronograph Watch Line

Created during the first half of the 19th century, in a small Swiss town named Chaux-de-Fonds, Omega is a watch-making brand, which occupies a well-established place among the established elites of the Haute Horology, and which proudly stands as an international etalon of quality, reliability and uncompromising horological innovation.

Surely, an impassionate watch connoisseur will know that the name of the brand comes from ancient Greek writing, where it represents a symbol of accomplishment, perfection and greatness. These qualities have always been cherished by the brand, which over the years, never ceased to rise to the heights of its name, gathering countless international awards such as the World record of precision, (England 1939) or the Grand Prix of Paris World Fair (France 1900).

In over a century and half of prestige and traditions, the brand never abandoned it perfectionist principles, and used every opportunity of horological innovation, bringing to life, every time around, genuine masterpieces of mechanical purity and watchmaking mastery.

Through the years, Omega dedicated many hours of research to developing spectacular ladies’ lines, characterized by youthful exuberance, femininity and refinement, and the new additions to Omega De Ville Watch Collection, the superb pieces of the Co Axial Chronograph Watch Line are a great example of the brand’s mastery.

A genuine aesthetic and mechanical triumph, how the press release characterizes the line, comprises many delightful variations, bound to conquer the hearts of the 21st century women. The models feature glamorous round cases, measuring 35 mm in diameter, performed in stainless steel, or 18-karat white/rose gold, which demonstrate a classy satin polished finish. The sophisticated architecture of the cases incorporates stylish bezel, decorated or not with the seductive glow of 42 brilliant-cut diamonds, a fluted crown, 2 smooth chronograph push-pieces, a glare/scratch-proof sapphire crystal, and an exhibition case-back, which enables a curious eye to admire the watch’s movement, but also provides 100-meter water resistance.

The models come in a wide variety of dial colors and finish touches, suited for any taste and sensibility, chocolate brown, dainty white mother-of-pearl, black, purple, etc. The models feature applied hour indices, sharp hour and minutes hands with luminescent inserts and chronograph counters for 30-minutes, 12-hours, and 60-seconds, located at 3, 6, respectively 9 o’clock positions. Asides from chronograph, and central hours, minutes and seconds functions, the model provides a large date aperture located between 10 and 11 o’clock.

At the heart of the timepieces beats a top-class self-winding, Co-Axial Chronograph movement, which provides 52-hours power reserve; the models come on stylish leather straps, and will cost from $6,100.00 for a modest steel version up to $20,000.00, for the models performed in yellow gold and diamonds.
