Magrette Moko Tattoo Limited Edition Watch

A very young and promising newcomer in the elitist world of the luxury watch-making industry, Magrette is a boutique watch company headquartered in the exotic New Zealand town, Auckland, also known as the City of Sails.

The story of the brand started with an impassionate watch collector, named Dion Wynyard McAsey, who, ever since he was a child developed a deep interest towards Swiss-made mechanical watches. As the Managing Director of a Creative Agency, which designed watches for a French-Canadian watchmaking brand, he decided to launch his own watchmaking brand, and to come up with an individualizing concept, which would impress the watch collectors worldwide.

He strived to bring to life an innovative watch-concept, which would be mysterious, alluring, old world and strong, and the name Magrette, seemed to be the best choice. Therefore, he designed amazing timepieces, which accommodate Swiss-made high-quality components, but also which have a sophisticated remarkable appearance, rooted in the traditions of his country.

Among the first successful models signed Magrette, Moko Tattoo Watch is a delightful new model characterized by a unique individuality and powerful symbolism. It features an interesting case engraving, which represents the Manaia mask, which in the Maori tribal tattoo art, symbolizes a strong guardian presence.

The model features a robust cushion-shaped stainless steel case measuring 44 mm in diameter, which incorporates a screw-down winding crown, and a protective sapphire crystal, and which ensures 30-meters water resistance.

A remarkable timepiece, the new Magrette Moko Tattoo Watch demonstrates a stylish black dial, nicely completed with sporty red accents, baton-shaped hour hands, hour indices and Arabic numeral hour markers for the 12, 3, 6, respectively 9 o’clock positions. The timepiece provides central hours minutes and seconds functions.

At the heart of the eye-catching Magrette Moko Tattoo Watch beats a top-quality, 25 jewels, self-winding mechanical movement, the ETA caliber 2824-2, which confers immaculate timekeeping accuracy and long-term reliability.

A superb collectable item, limited to only 10 pieces, which come matched with elegant black leather straps, the new Magrette Moko Tattoo Watch comes in a hand-made wooden box, and will have a price of $4,485.00.
