Linde Werdelin SpidoLite SA Rose Gold Watch

Known among the watch-enthusiasts worldwide as an innovative manufacture, which launched a pioneering concept – the watch & instrument, especially created to meet the needs of professional divers and skiers, Linde Werdelin was founded by two friends and visionary entrepreneurs from Denmark, Morten Linde and Jorn Werdelin, who started their partnership in 2002.

Nevertheless, the story of the brand goes a few years back when, in the winter of 1996, in the Swiss Alps, John Werdelin, had a life-threatening experience, when caught in a storm, on an off-piste itinerary, broke his back. After this unfortunate event, he acknowledged that a professional skier needs more than a traditional sports watch, and that a digital instrument could be the answer.

However, he didn’t wanted to change the stylish analogue interface of the timepiece, with complications, otherwise useless in every-day activities; that is when he turned to his friend Morten Linde, and they started the development of a pioneering concept, which blends the Swiss mechanical craftsmanship, with the unmatched functionality of a detachable skiing/diving instrument.

One of the first watch lines of the brand, the sophisticated Linde Werdelin SpidoLite SA Watch Line received another beautiful addition, the stylish Linde Werdelin SpidoLite SA Rose Gold Watch, a masculine new model limited to only 88 pieces.

The model features a robust 18-karat rose gold case, measuring 44 mm in diameter and 12 mm in thickness, which demonstrates a complex skeletonised architecture, inspired by the chassis of a Formula 1 car, accented by the brushed finish, which confers the model a powerful masculine individuality. The sophisticated construction of the case incorporates a screw-in DLC-coated fluted crown, and a glare-proof sapphire crystal, and confers the advantage of 300-meter water resistance.

The model demonstrates titanium, grey galvanic matt dial, nicely completed with four applied hour indices, treated with luminescent substances, as well as the watch’s sharp rose gold hours and minute’s hands.

At the heart of the remarkable Linde Werdelin SpidoLite SA Rose Gold Watch beats a high-performance, NOS self-winding mechanical movement, the AS 1876 caliber, modified to incorporate blue gold rotor and engraved plate, which provides 42-hours power reserve.

Especially created to meet the needs of the charismatic, venturous man of the 21st century, the superb Linde Werdelin SpidoLite SA Rose Gold Watch embraces the wrist with a classy black leather strap, and it will be available for an approximate price of $22,000.00.
