Presented as a tribute to Hublot`s new boutique on Place Vendome in Paris, the Tourbillon Vendome watch will come in limited edition.
Inspired by the two-century-old column in Place Vendome, the dial is adorned with two small columns that provide the frame for the tourbillion cage. These inspiring features are crafted from bronze.
Having the HUB6003, a mechanical flying-tourbillon movement developed and manufactured within the Hublot manufacture, the new Tourbillon Vendome watch has 5-day power reserve and 100-meter water-resistance. The mechanism has 210 parts, but also off-center hours and minutes.
The Big Bang 44mm case is satin-finished, with anti-reflective sapphire crystal on the top. The bezel lug is made of black composite resin, while the 6 H-shaped screws are in titanium or titanium black PVD.
As another proof for excellence, the case-back is in satin-finished 18K red gold or black microblasted ceramic with sapphire crystal and interior anti-reflective treatment. Besides these types of gold or ceramic, the crown also includes black rubber insert.
For indicating the time, there are 18K red gold or black color hands with black luminescent. The skeleton hands are satin-finished and microblasted. The bridges are microblasted angled and polished with black galvanic treatment, while the barrel has reinforced spring and the escapement is glucydur hairspring.
With a power reserve of 120 hours, the Tourbillon Vendome timepiece has indicators at 12 o`clock and seconds via de tourbillion, as well as a cage at 6 o`clock.
The new Hublot Tourbillon Vendome watch comes in two versions: in 18K red gold or in microblasted black ceramic. The models can feature either a black alligator leather strap or a black rubber strap, but also a buckle clasp in red gold or microblasted steel with black PVD.
The Vendome Gold Tourbillon will be limited to only 10 pieces, while the all black Vendome Tourbillon will be released in 20 pieces.
