Hublot King Power Alinghi Watch

The youthful and dynamic, luxury watch-making brand Hublot, was created in the 1980s by a visionary entrepreneur, Carlo Crocco in Nyon, Switzerland, and in a rather short existence, it grew into one of the most respected members of today fine Horology.

Among the watch connoisseurs worldwide, the name Hublot is synonymous with a highly personal audacious approach to watch making, uncompromising innovation and revolutionary freethinking. In the first timepieces produced by Hublot, the brand masterfully combined the use of natural rubber with precious materials, like diamonds and gold, creating an inconceivable novelty, which individualized Hublot and placed it among the most renowned watchmakers of the world.

Through the years, the brand experienced a privileged partnership with the prestigious Alinghi sailing team, the Swiss defender of the 33rd America’s Cup. In order to celebrate this fruitful intertwinement, the brand created another sporty timepiece, the new charismatic King Power Alinghi watch, a robust wristwatch, which emanates powerful masculinity.

The robust case of the sporty Hublot King Power Alinghi watch measures 48 mm in diameter and was it manufactured from high-tech microblasted black ceramic. Moreover, the case’s sturdy architecture incorporates a black ceramic bezel covered in molded black rubber, which enhances the timepiece’s sporty dynamic aesthetics. Furthermore, the bezel is secured to the case with the brand’s signature 6 H-shaped titanium screws, which in order to acquire a dark matching hue received, a black-PVD coating, just like the watch’s winding crown and push pieces, which merge the PVD-coated titanium with individualizing black rubber inserts. The watch’s face is shielded by a both sides, anti-glare coated sapphire crystal.

The sophisticated Hublot King Power Alinghi watch features an eye-catching multilayered skeleton dial, which allows an inquiring eye to admire the inner beauty of the beating mechanism, which animates this superb timepiece. It accommodates matt black chronograph counters and applied microblasted black nickel hour indices fitted with luminescent coating for optimal time-legibility in poor light conditions. Moreover, the watch features satin-finished hour hand also treated with Super-LumiNova, and an individualizing Alinghi logo performed in vibrant red at 9 o’clock position.

At the heart of this outstanding timekeeping companion beats the high precision, an in-house self-winding mechanical skeleton chronograph movement – the HUB4400, which incorporates 252 individual components and 27 jewels. The movement reveals an interesting combination of high-tech materials and high-end finishing – microblasted black chrome main-plate and bridges, a tungsten carbide oscillating weight, treated with black PVD etc.

Created for a self-assertive contemporary man, keen on nautical competitions and innovative wristwatches, the sophisticated Hublot King Power Alinghi watch ensures a 42 hours power reserve and 100 meters water-tightness. The watch comes coupled with an articulated black rubber strap or a more stylish microblasted black ceramic and black PVD treatment; it will be available in a limited edition of 333 pieces for a price tag of a approximately $27,000.00.
