Ebel 1911 BTR Perpetual Calendar

Carrying on a centenary legacy of refinement and prestige ever since 1911, when it was founded in Chaux-de-Fonds by a visionary young couple, known as the first architects of time, both partners in business and life, Ebel always stood on the cutting edge of watch-making innovation and creativity, successfully merging both masculine and feminine principles, qualities and traditional values.

In order to please its highly sophisticated customers keen on contemporary design and immaculate functionality, Ebel introduced another brand new amazing model in pink gold, the 1911 BTR Perpetual Calendar Chronograph, a masterpiece of mechanical watch-making mastery, available in a limited exclusivist edition of only 200 timepieces, which enriches the successful Ebel 1911 BTR line.

Impressive through its contemporary architecture which alternates glass and steel patterns, Ebel 1911 BTR Perpetual Calendar Chronograph features the iconic hexagonal 1911 case a robust 44.5 mm case defined by rounded angles and fitted with a broad bezel which encloses a 32 mm dial aperture, furthermore the imposing bezel is secured with 5 screws, and is completed by a sapphire crystal which received both-sides anti-glare coating. The model is completed by a classy hand-sewn overstitched, classy alligator leather strap.

The color pattern for this fascinating timepiece was based on the profound understanding of the visual impact of subtle contrasts, which guides an astound eye to the intricate mechanical movement which unfurls under the alternating black and slate gray of the open-work dial.

At the core of this timepiece lays a 436 parts elaborate mechanical movement, the Caliber 288 a COSC double-certified engine which was tested both before and after the assembly of the perpetual calendar module. The movement ensures day, date, month and year functions, along with a superb moon-phase celestial display sublimely designed and positioned at 6 o’clock. The emblematic Ebel compass oscillating weight can be admired through a sapphire crystal translucent case-back.

In spite of the large amount of information displayed, the dial of Ebel 1911 BTR Perpetual Calendar Chronograph, retains a sublime time legibility, it features 4 transparent crystal counters, with high-end metallic matt finish which enhances great time readability, moreover the 12 Super-LumiNova coated hour markers are perfectly visible against the fluid transparency of the dial’s structure, marvelously completed by diamond-shaped hours and minutes skeleton hands. A wonderful accomplishment of the Swiss manufacturer, Ebel 1911 BTR Perpetual Calendar Chronograph is guaranteed to confer a plus of style and individuality to a gentlemen’s outfit.
