Chopard L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon

A renowned watch-making brand and luxury goods manufacturer, Chopard was created in 1860 by a visionary spirit of his time, Louis-Ulysse Chopard, in the Swiss Jura Mountains, and ever since has been associated with immaculate quality and supreme aesthetical purity.

The brand also acquired a well-established reputation among the watch connoisseurs worldwide, for the unmatched mechanical sophistication and uncompromising originality of its timepieces, being awarded the Watch of the year in 1997, for a superb timepiece animated by one of the brand’s L.U.C automatic movements.

Recently, the brand enriched its emblematic L.U.C collection with another beautiful tourbillon model, the outstanding L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon watch a groundbreaking timepiece compared to the other tourbillon models of the brand.

The watch catches the glance through its unusual case design; nicely crafted from titanium, it measures 35.4mm x 44.4mm, and demonstrates a nice combination of polished and brushed surfaces. The case’s sophisticated architecture furthermore incorporates a large winding crown, positioned between protective guards, distinctively curved lugs and brushed flanks, and it ensures 50-meters water resistance.

The watch features a sporty three-dimensional dial, nicely highlighted by black Arabic numeral hour markers and indices, directly painted on the watch’s dial. The watch features a unique interpretation of the tourbillon complication, presented through an aperture located at 6 o’clock, and fitted with a skeleton bridge, for the carriage. The watch’s dial also features a central satin area surrounded by vertically striated zones and a powerfully designed power-reserve counter, located at 12 o’clock position.

The superb L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon watch is animated by a shaped hand-wound mechanical movement – the COSC-certified, high-precision L.U.C 1TRM caliber, equipped with a sophisticated shock-absorbing system, inspired by that of a car engine. The exquisite movement is just 5.60 mm tall, and it oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, providing the advantage of 60-hour power-reserve.

Furthermore, the sophisticated timepiece features with an exhibition case back and embraces the wrist with a stylish hand-sewn black crocodile leather strap, equipped with titanium buckle.

Especially created for a modern charismatic man the eye-catching Chopard L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon watch was produced in a limited edition of only 150 pieces, and will be available for an approximate price tag of $100,000.00.
